We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Wealth Management Technology team, focusing on the Managed Account Billing domain. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant billing solutions for managed accounts within a high-volume financial environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain DB2 databases, native stored procedures, and COBOL-based billing applications.
• Lead enhancements to billing workflows and reconciliation processes for managed accounts.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and batch/online programs for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and operations teams to deliver robust billing solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Support modernization initiatives including API integration and distributed/cloud-ready designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding, testing, and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong expertise in DB2, COBOL, JCL, and mainframe utilities.
• Hands-on experience with native stored procedures and high-volume transaction systems.
• Deep understanding of Wealth Management managed accounts, billing, and fee processing.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work across business and technology teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to system modernization, cloud migration, or distributed platforms.
• Familiarity with brokerage operations, fee/revenue management, and reconciliation tools.
