Corporate Development (M&A) Manager
Embla Medical (Össur) is looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join the team. The Corporate Development Manager will manage and support the identification, assessment and execution of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects and strategic partnerships. The manager will work closely with the Corporate Development team, leadership teams across our business, and external stakeholders. As a Corporate Development manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth ambition of Embla Medical.
Field of work
Maintain M&A pipeline, screen industry and identify targets in close co-operation with leadership teams
Provide analytic support and assessment of strategic investment opportunities, build business cases and valuations, including a discounted cash flow analysis
Prepare material and reports including presentation of investment opportunities to executive management
Coordination of due diligence process with external and internal stakeholders
Support post-acquisition planning and follow-up on acquired companies
Requirements
University degree in business, finance, engineering or related fields
Proven track record in managing M&A processes or related roles
High proficiency in project management, data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to communicate fluently in English is a requirement
Good project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities, stakeholder management skills, is independent, takes initiative, and detail oriented
Experience of working within a global company is highly preferred.

Styðja við áætlanagerð og eftirfylgni eftir yfirtökur
Hæfniskröfur
Háskólagráða í viðskiptum, fjármálum, verkfræði eða skyldum greinum
Reynsla af stjórnun M&A ferla eða af sambærilegum störfum
Mjög góð færni í verkefnastjórnun, gagnagreiningu, fjármálalíkönum og skýrslugerð
Framúrskarandi kunnátta í Excel og PowerPoint
Mjög góð enskukunnátta í töluðu og rituðu máli
