Ferguson is seeking a Market Branch Manager to lead our waterworks operations across Central Ohio.

This leadership role is responsible for supervising branches, driving regional performance, and implementing growth strategies.

The ideal candidate is a top-tier leader with a strong background in multi-site operations, financial oversight, and team development.

Position Details: * Reports to the Senior General Manager * Direct oversight of 15 to 20 associates * This position leads operations of a high-volume market branch, which may include multi-site oversight, and involves management of the primary location as well as mentor and develop other Branch Managers within the market.

* Total market revenue typically exceeds $100M+ annually.

Key Responsibilities: Regional Oversight: * Manage multiple branches or senior branch managers within a designated geographic area.

* Ensure all locations operate in alignment with company standards and goals.

Strategic Planning: * Develop and implement business unit strategies to drive market share growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.

* Analyze market trends and competition to find opportunities for expansion or improvement.

Leadership Development: * Mentor and coach senior branch managers, ensuring leadership and operational excellence.

* Serve as the key decision-maker for regional escalations and challenges.

Financial Responsibility: * Oversee financial performance for locations, ensuring alignment with budgets and profitability goals.

* Approve significant capital expenditures and investments for branches within the area.

Customer and Market Relationships: * Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts, vendors, and community partners.

* Represent the company at regional events, industry meetings, and negotiations.

* Works with Sales Manager to grow key accounts.

Reporting and Communication: * Act as the point of contact between the branches and leadership.

* Provide regular updates on business unit performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Innovation and Growth: * Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, customer experience, and market positioning across all branches.

* Lead regional efforts in growing services, entering new markets, and achieving company-wide growth targets.

Qualifications: * Minimum of 2+ years of dynamic experience in multi-site branch management, ideally within the water, wastewater, or related infrastructure industries.

* Proven track record to lead large teams and run complex operations.

* Strong critical thinking, financial competence, and decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership development capabilities.

* Proven success in driving growth, improving efficiency, and achieving financial targets.

* Sophisticated sales acuity - understanding of how to influence and how to drive sales strategies in multiple locations, grow market share, develop new business, etc.

* Pay Range: * $9,875.00 - $15,800.00 * Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

* This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

* Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.

The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
