Job Description Job Title: Welder We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder who is willing to work either the 1st or 2nd shift, from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm.

The ideal candidate will be adept at reading blueprints and schematics, applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, or repair parts of metal or other weldable materials as specified by work orders, blueprints, sketches, or charts.

You will lay out and mark weld points on parts or sub-assemblies and may position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps using measuring instruments.

Your completed work will be inspected for conformance to specifications, and you will perform all tasks in accordance with established safety procedures.

Additionally, you will engage in fabrication and other tasks when welding work is slower.

ResponsibilitiesApply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, or repair metal parts.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and charts.Lay out and mark weld points on parts or sub-assemblies.Position pieces to be welded using jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps.Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Engage in fabrication and other tasks when welding work is slower.

Essential Skills2+ years of demonstrated professional welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of all safety procedures pertaining to welding.Experience welding out of positions (vertical, overhead, pulse, or short arc) and occasionally welding on a ladder.Proficiency in blueprint reading, weld symbols, mechanical abilities.AWS D 1.1 structural welding certification on MIG (3G or 4G).Familiarity with NDT (Nondestructive Testing), PT, and MT.

Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in TIG welding is a plus.Experience with press brake, shears, burn table.Ability to perform tasks such as painting and sweeping if necessary.

The environment is dirty and requires adaptability to various tasks, including painting and sweeping when necessary.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
