Introduction

Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years exp as a Automation Tester.

Strong knowledge of testing principles, processes, and authoring of test documents

Thorough understanding of web technologies, such as HTTPS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, and REST

Experience with testing of web services, business logic, and enterprise integrations

Good understanding of OOP patterns and experience with Java

Hands-on development of automated tests using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright

Experience with Agile and other rapid application development methods

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience doing performance and security testing

Thorough understanding of databases, SQL, and scripting

Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and pride in developing working software quickly

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop test plans, strategies, and schedule test activities

Develop clean, maintainable automated tests programmatically and leverage continuous integration

Identify and leverage tools and automated solutions to test thoroughly and quickly in a repeatable fashion

Raise clear, detailed bugs, participate in bug discussions, and follow them to resolution

Manual testing of test-supporting applications

Monitor and track resolution of defects, coordinating with engineers to prevent, report, and resolve issues

Design, monitor, and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test results, and test status
