Technical Director - Drama

The Big Walnut Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for the below position with our theatre department beginning the 2025/2026 school year: * Technical Director (Drama) - one-year supplemental contract Interested BWEA bargaining unit members must apply no later than September 30, 2025.

Duties to include, but are not limited to: * Design, create, build and decorate props and special effects for theater productions * Coordinate stage design and layout with the stage director * Assist in ordering materials and supplies for productions * Ensure safety procedures are followed in set design and layouts * Work with students under teacher's direction * Configure theater seating for productions * Write and distribute promotional theater material for marketing * Attend performances for newspapers, display, and staff use * Perform other duties as assigned Please contact Nicole Carter () with questions about the position.
