POSITION SUMMARY
The Estimator position includes delivering accurate, competitive bids and supporting project teams from pre-bid through project handoff. The position will be responsible for tracking costs, supporting change orders, developing proposals, reviewing plans and specifications, assembling bid documents, and creating project schedules. The Estimator position ensures each bid is complete, compliant, and aligned with company goals.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare detailed project cost estimates using HCSS
Perform project takeoff and value engineering
Attend pre-bids, pre-jobs and project meetings
Review and evaluate job costs and budget with accounting staff
Build and maintain owner/client relationship
Organize and prioritize tasks to keep work on track
Create and maintain project schedules
Assist with project startup and handoff
Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules

Position Requirements
4-year CEM and/or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and math skills
Experience through internships or summer job(s), particularly in equipment operation and/or maintenance preferred
Experience using estimating software, HCSS preferred
Experience with GPS/Survey and CAD/3d Modeling preferred
CADD/Survey experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Bluebeam Revu
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess a valid current driver's license
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
