At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.

We are currently recruiting for a motivated individual to join our HR team based in Filton (BS34).

The successful applicant will join the team on a full-time, permanent basis and will support the HR function in delivering a professional service to the business.

How You'll Contribute

Ensure accurate data input in respect of employees time and attendance

Ensure the time management system is updated in a timely manner to reflect changes such as shift changes, holiday carry over, unpaid leave and buying and selling of annual leave.

Maintain accurate organisational structure and hierarchy in SAP and Wilbur

Update HR systems to reflect changes such as salary, position, grade, personal data etc. Support the team regarding Wilbur related issues

Support the HR team regarding time and attendance issues such as shift working and processes

Production of timely and accurate management information and reports. Analysis and interpretation of reports as required. Deal promptly with AD-Hoc requests for data

Liaise with the business on issues such as factory shutdown and special shift arrangements. Support the implementation of new shifts, structures or systems

Provide training for management level staff relating to the Time and Attendance system

Produce payroll extract from the time and attendance system on a monthly basis, ensure all payment related data and forms are forwarded to payroll in a timely manner

Liaise with the IT team and consultants regarding updates to the time and attendance, planned and ad-hoc

Essential:

Experience with SAP (Success Factors preferred)

Ability to organise own workload when working to deadlines

Excellent attention to detail (in particular Microsoft Excel)

High levels of discretion and diplomacy due to handling of sensitive data

Desirable:

Desire to work as part of a wider team toward a common objective

Previous experience communicating with stakeholders of various levels
