M/S Telemetry Nurse - Plattsburgh, NY Assignment Duration

This is a 16 to 32-week contract position, commencing on 11/03. Schedule or Shift

12-hour night shifts are required, with every other weekend and potentially rotating holidays. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled M/S Telemetry Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic medical-surgical environment. The nurse will float between R5, R6, and R7 units, with the possibility of working with ED HOLD patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Med Surg Oncology, Orthopedics, and Urology. Responsibilities

Manage patient care on the M/S Telemetry units.

Provide telemetry monitoring and care for patients in the unit.

Assist with IV starts, bladder scans, blood draws off central lines, and glucose monitoring.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required, with specific experience in telemetry nursing.

AHA BLS certification is required; CMSRN certification is preferred.

NIHSS certification is required prior to starting.

New York nursing license, or proof of application, must be submitted at the time of application. Benefits
