Senior Acquisition SME
Functional Responsibilities
Work as part of a larger Program team reporting to contract support Manager
Provide direct support to CORs assigned to Program contracts
Lead obligation of Program funds
Lead procurement package generation and submission
Lead development and submission of S1 Memo packages
Lead and coordinate evaluation of bids/proposals
Support contract award and closeout
Lead submission of Program communication circuit requirements and track through installation
Lead execution of selected projects as identified by the Program Manager
Team with outside agency project leaders to ensure all work is synchronized with Program Goals and Objectives
Prepare, track and maintain status of all Program acquisition efforts
Lead development and analysis of recommendations on Program acquisition matters.
Support development of annual Program acquisition goals and objectives
Support Program spend plan development, execution and tracking
Support documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment
Job Qualifications
BS or BA degree with 15 years’ Government Acquisition experience or an MS degree with 10 years’ Government Acquisition experience
Demonstrated experience with the DHS/CBP Budgeting and Acquisition process
Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearance
Excellent written and oral communications skills, including development and presentation of briefings to senior Government personnel
Self-starter capable of supporting senior Government personnel independently, with minimal supervision
