We are looking for a Full Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic team!
Locations: Will work at both our Los Angeles, CA 90048 & Glendale, CA 91203 locations.
Work Schedule
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No remote work option available
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job description:
We are seeking a motivated Ophthalmic Technician or Medical Assistant for a part-time or full-time position in a retina practice- located in the cities of Los Angeles and Glendale. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a medical setting, working directly with patients and medical professionals.
What You'll Do
Assist with patient intake, including medical history collection and visual acuity testing
Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment following clinical protocols
Administer diagnostic imaging (e.g., OCT, fundus photography)
Support physicians during in-office procedures
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards

Position Requirements
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Ophthalmic Technician
Retina experience preferred
Reliable transportation to travel between our Los Angeles and Glendale offices
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20-30 lbs
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing tasks throughout the day
Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced clinical team
