Bartender

Job Description

We’re looking for a fun, energetic, and skilled Bartender to join our team at The Tiki Room! If you love tropical cocktails, have a passion for creating memorable guest experiences, and thrive in a lively, fast-paced atmosphere, we want to meet you. This is your chance to shake, stir, and pour in one of the most unique and exciting bars in town.

Responsibilities

Craft and serve tiki-inspired cocktails, classic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, including washing glassware and prepping garnishes.

Engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude — take orders, offer drink recommendations, and create a fun, memorable vibe.

Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system; manage tabs and close out smoothly.

Monitor liquor, mixer, and garnish inventory; help with ordering and restocking when needed.

Follow all food handling, alcohol service, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and team members.

Collaborate with the kitchen and floor staff to keep service running smoothly during busy nights and events.

Stay cool under pressure — we get busy, and you’ll need solid time management to serve multiple guests efficiently.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience required, especially in fast-paced or craft cocktail bars.

Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.

Strong upselling and sales skills — we love it when bartenders help guests discover new drinks!

Excellent communication and a genuinely friendly, team-player attitude.

Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays — we’re a nightlife spot!

TABC (or local alcohol certification) and Food Handler’s certification, or willingness to get certified upon hire.
