Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $26 - $30.50 per hour (Depending on Qualifications)

Hours:

6 am -4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday

6 am - 6:30 pm Friday - Sunday

Duties of the punch press setup/ operator:

Perform setups on punch press utilizing progressive tooling, single hit, and compound dies

Set up and diagnose issues with tooling, including progressive dies, stage tooling, and short-run temporary tooling

Calculate shut height

Install limit switches, safety chains, and light screens

Turn in first article pieces to QA department

Install and affix applicable safety guards

Assist in training and certification of Junior Die Setter and operators as necessary

Requirements of the punch press setup / operator:

Minimum 2 years of experience in punch press setup required

Ability to work with the Toolroom and QA departments to resolve tooling and QA issues
