Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to review, update, and enhance operational manuals and other technical documentation.
This role is positioned within the quality department and focuses on updating operations for medical device and chromatography equipment.
Responsibilities + Review and revise existing operational manuals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
+ Update document layouts and incorporate graphics to improve readability and visual appeal.
+ Format documents according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and verify technical information.
+ Maintain version control and document history.
+ Ensure all documentation aligns with compliance standards.
Essential Skills + Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in a regulated or operational environment (Ideally 2+ years). + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with the person is required.
+ Technical writing, Word Perfect Windows, regulatory compliance.
Work Environment The ideal candidate would be located in Grove City and can work in the office or follow a hybrid schedule.
The manager is open to candidates who need to work 100% remotely as well.
The work schedule is 8 hours a day/40 hours a week during the first shift.
Exact hours are flexible within that range, such as 8am-5pm, 7am-4pm, or 9am-6pm.
The project is slated to last 3 months.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grove City, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
