Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:20am-4:50pm. Mandatory overtime is mandatory when required.
Summary:
The Quality Control Technician completes Quality and Food Safety quantitative and qualitative on the floor testing. They are the front-line leaders to ensuring adherence to product specifications and to our food safety and quality programs.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
-Review equipment post sanitation for remaining food debris and overall equipment condition.
-Print daily quality and production paperwork.
-Verify accuracy of item labels, product coding and allergens.
-Complete and document hourly, daily, and weekly quantitative and qualitative testing.
-Communicate non-conforming results immediately to management.
-Monitor assigned area for GMP compliance.
-Collect samples of finished goods to be submitted for microbiological testing.
-Conduct in line audits/product assessments for specification compliance.
-Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, document corrective actions.
Qualifications:
-Must be able to walk, stand, use hands, crouch or kneel and climb stairs during 10 hour shift.
-Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

-Problem Solving abilities
-Must be able to work independently without supervision.
Education and/or experience:
-High School diploma or GED
-Six months experience in manufacturing environment, preferably food industry
