Job Description:

This position involves a broad range of responsibilities beyond interpretation, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, bilingual, and global environment.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Interpretation:

Real-time interpretation between Japanese and English for internal meetings, external client meetings, and other business scenarios.

Focus on B2B and cross-departmental communication involving multiple participants.

2. Overseas Client Support:

Handle communication and meetings with overseas business partners.

Manage and coordinate project progress involving international stakeholders.

3. Translation:

Translate various documents such as contracts, business emails, game development proposals, and other materials (Japanese English).

4. Research and Information Gathering:

Conduct research using English sources (e.g., international regulations, online gaming news, etc.).

Gather and analyze relevant documents and information.

5. Executive & Department Support:

Assist with business planning, contract preparation, and review.

Manage schedules and coordinate with related parties.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in simultaneous or consecutive interpreting in a corporate (B2B) setting, particularly in group-to-group communication.

Business-level Japanese and English proficiency, including both spoken and written communication.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and web conferencing platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).

Working Hours:

Weekdays only. Please choose one of the following work patterns:

11:00 – 20:00 (8 hours + 1-hour break)

12:00 – 20:00 (7 hours + 1-hour break)

13:00 – 20:00 (6 hours + 1-hour break)

15:00 – 20:00 (5 hours, no break)

16:00 – 20:00 (4 hours, no break)

Days Off & Holidays:

Standard 5-day work week (Saturday & Sunday off)

Annual holidays: 121 days
