We are looking for a highly skilled CapEx Project Controller to join our dynamic team and support our large-scale capital expenditure projects in Taiwan. This role is critical in ensuring financial oversight, cost control, and risk management across complex, high-value construction and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance or engineering, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.

The preferred work location is Southern Taiwan (Kaohsiung or Tainan), but we are also open to candidates based in Taipei.

Your Role

Partner with Project Managers, Procurement, and Finance teams to plan, monitor, and control capital project budgets

Prepare and maintain accurate project forecasts, cash flows, cost reports, and variance analysis.

Ensure all CapEx project expenditures are in line with financial policies and reporting standards (local GAAP and IFRS).

Track and report on cost commitments, actuals, and performance against budget.

Analyze risks and opportunities related to project spending, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

Support capital approval processes, including business case preparation and CapEx requests.

Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to validate billing, change orders, and payment schedules.

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports to corporate finance, auditors, and senior management.

Drive compliance with internal controls and project governance frameworks.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project controlling, preferably in large CapEx or infrastructure projects.

Strong financial acumen with experience in project cost control tools (e.g., SAP). Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Familiarity with capital investment processes, construction lifecycle, and project accounting principles.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industries; site operation experience is preferred.
