What You’ll Do
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Information Technology Professional to support software billing operations, end-user software support, mobile device lifecycle management, and network circuits covering the State. This role is essential to the efficiency of IT operations, ensuring accurate billing, responsive software support, and seamless provisioning and deactivation of mobile devices. Additionally, it involves managing circuit vendors and ensuring that all connected sites are active and compliant with company standards.
The key responsibilities for this position can be broken down into three categories: Software & Billing, Mobile Device Lifecycle Management, and Circuit Auditing and Vendor Management. Duties include but are not limited to:
Software & Billing Support
Manage IT software billing processes, including invoice tracking, discrepancy resolution, and coordination with finance teams.
Maintain accurate records of software licenses, renewals, installations, and configurations.
Develop and maintain user guides and knowledge base articles to support self-service and training.
Train new employees and team members on billing procedures and software request workflow
Mobile Device Lifecycle Management
Coordinate cellphone requests for new hires and existing staff.
Set up and configure mobile devices with required security policies and enterprise applications.
Manage deactivation and recovery of devices upon reassignment or separation.
Maintain asset tracking and ensure compliance with mobile device policies.
Monthly reconciliation on billing for vendors and vendor management.
Circuit Auditing and Vendor Management
Conduct thorough audits of circuits across over 88 Counties to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage relationships with circuit vendors, ensuring all sites have active circuits and addressing any issues related to circuit configurations and usage.
Maintain records of which sites have active circuits and resolve discrepancies in circuit configurations and usage.
Schedule: Full-time
Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Travel: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.

The ideal candidate, at minimum, must have the following:
Completion of Associates or Greater core program in any of the following: Information Technology, Electrical Engineer, or Telecommunication.
AND
2 years training or experience in Systems Analysist and Design
AND
12 months training or experience in any of the following: Systems development, Telecommunications, or Networking
Or
Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohio’s OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 35. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $40.59 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
