We are proud to represent a global Am Law 50 firm, to recruit a Business Development and Marketing Specialist, supporting the firm's Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic pitches and proposals, develop impactful client-facing materials, and play a key role in advancing marketing and business development projects related to the IP Practice Group and the Advertising, Food & Beverage, and Retail Industry Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Development: Provide day-to-day support for business development activities, including building a knowledge base of the practice group and relevant services.
Proposal & Pitch Development: Develop tailored, compelling, and responsive pitches, proposals, and RFP responses that effectively position the firm to secure new business opportunities.
Content & Data Management: Maintain accurate practice/industry-related content, matter descriptions, marketing collateral, and contact lists.
Research & Strategy: Conduct industry, client, and prospect research to identify business and profile-raising opportunities, track IP-related business and legal trends to support strategic initiatives.
Credentials and Expertise:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required.
Experience: Minimum of three years in a business development or marketing role within a law firm or professional services environment ideally within an IP department.
Capabilities: Skilled in drafting proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral with strong writing, communication, and organizational abilities. Proven success managing multiple projects, driving business growth and supporting strategic marketing initiatives in fast-paced environments.
