Location: Naval Station Rota, Spain

Start Date: 13 October 2025

Schedule: Full-Time; 1000-1600 Mon-Friday

Make a Difference Behind the Mission

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and interested in interacting with all members in your community? French Consulting is hiring Mail Room Clerk to provide administrative and logistical support at the mail room at Naval Station Rota. You’ll play a vital role in delivering mail efficiently and promptly, with excellent customer services.

What You’ll Do

Transport official and personal mail to and from Rota mail center in a government-owned vehicle to the mail room.

Handling requirements: ensure proper security, handling, sorting, documenting, dispatching, and forwarding of all mail per established instructions

Maintain database of all customers served

Assign new personnel virtual box number at Mail Center.

Collect forwarding addresses for departing patrons and maintain weekly mailing list

Handle Registered and Official mail according to established procedures

Adhere to all established instructions, guidance, and operating manuals.

Qualifications

Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Knowledge of organization procedures sufficient to maintain files, directories, supportive material

Knowledge of procedural instructions and postal regulations

Knowledge of USPS and DoD requirements with relations to processing and dispatching all types of outgoing mail, packages, and materials

Valid state and Government driver’s license

U.S. Citizenship required.

Duties may be physically demanding, and long periods of standing, walking and bending may be required
