ETL Developer (Package Specialist/Oracle Data Integration)

CTG is seeking to fill an ETL Developer (Package Specialist/Oracle Data Integration) opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 10 months

Duties:

Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Ab Initio GDE.

Build high-performance data integration and transformation pipelines.

Work with Ab Initio Co-Operating System, EME (Enterprise Meta Environment), and metadata-driven development.

Develop and optimize graphs for batch and real-time processing.

Integrate with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, etc.) and external data sources.

Implement continuous flows, web services, and message-based integration with Ab Initio, including:

Continuous Flows (Co-Op & GDE)

Plans and Psets

Conduct-It for job scheduling and orchestration

Graphs and Parameter Sets Skills:

Strong experience with Ab Initio tools and frameworks for ETL development.

Knowledge of RDBMS and data integration techniques.

Job monitoring and scheduling experience (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).

Familiarity with security standards, encryption, and access management.

Nice to have:

Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP for cloud-based data solutions.

Experience with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka).

Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience:

Proven track record in ETL development, data integration, and process optimization using Ab Initio.

Hands-on experience with batch and real-time data processing.

Familiarity with metadata-driven development and enterprise data management. Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
