About The Role
DriveWealth is expanding internationally, targeting partners and opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer for the APAC region to support the growth of our Singapore office and regional headquarters. This will be a frontline role working closely with our teams to manage institutional client relationships, product development, client onboarding, equities order management & reporting. This role will also involve operational and administrative duties, including interactions with DriveWealth teams overseas.
The successful candidate will be based in Singapore and serve as an Appointed Representative with MAS under DriveWealth Singapore Pte Ltd., a Capital Markets Licensee in Singapore.
What You’ll Need
10 years of front office experience in a Financial Institution (Broker Dealer, Bank or FinTech), preferably in a retail setting at a firm that offers access to listed securities in the U.S. and other major markets
High client interaction experience, preferably within a Broker-Dealer (equities) environment, including with Operations/Settlements teams
Ability to work with product teams to help drive local requirements
Current working knowledge of regulations in connection with providing brokerage services, including MAS and FINRA/SEC rules and regulations
3 years of leadership/management experience
Successful completion of the AR examination is required
Able to work flexible extended hours when necessary due to time zone differences with our US and European offices
Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
Proficiency in one or more languages spoken across Asia is preferred
