Scripting and Integration Specialist

Short Term Contract (3 months)

Remote Working to UK hours

We have a remote, short term contract for an Audio Software Developer with strong experience in scripting and integrating MIDI controllers with major DAWs (Logic, Cubase, FL Studio).

The team are looking for some extra resource as they move towards some new product releases and would like someone skilled in Lua, JavaScript and Ruby, to help develop custom scripts, templates, and mappings for MIDI controllers across Logic, Cubase, and FL Studio

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom scripts, templates, and mappings for MIDI controllers across Logic, Cubase, and FL Studio

Implement and refine workflow utilities that improve DAW–hardware interaction

Troubleshoot and optimize hardware/software compatibility issues

Deliver clean, reliable, and well-structured code within agreed timelines

Requirements

Proven experience scripting for DAW and MIDI hardware integration

Strong skills in Lua, JavaScript and Ruby

Experience with Logic Pro, Cubase, and FL Studio integration workflows

Ability to work independently and collaborate online with other Software Developers

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail

C++ knowledge a plus, but not required
