Machine Operator

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Machine Operator who is hard-working, reliable and committed to quality and safety in the workplace.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·Set-up, calibrate, maintain, and repair the AD 2360 W&H and AM Tuber 8115 W&H machinery and machine tools as needed

·Run test products to ensure quality and accuracy of production meets the set standard

·Oversee machines, belts, any moving pieces during the production process and adjust speed or movements as needed

·Able to run open-mouth, stepped-end, hinge & pipe and small and big sacks.

·Run and maintain the required production speed, waste and quality levels.

·Keep a daily activity log of production notes (including totals, defects, etc.)

·Follow state health and safety regulations by wearing required equipment and protection as needed.

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

·Ability to speak English

·Ability to work with the team and lead the team

·High school diploma or an equivalent experience in the bag industry.

·5+ years of experience in a related manufacturing role

·Able to read blueprints, sketches and/or computer-aided designs

·Must be computer literate
