Description:

Our client is seeking a Personal Insurance Claims Handler to manage the end-to-end claims process while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide policy holders through the claims process and collect required documentation.

Assess claims to ensure compliance with policy conditions.

Monitor claim progress and liaise with claimants, professionals, and legal advisors.

Investigate and manage potentially fraudulent claims.

Negotiate fair settlements and resolve complaints effectively.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company quality standards.

Experience & Education:

Minimum secondary level of education.

At least 2 years experience in insurance, particularly in personal lines products.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly.

Strong IT proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Attention to detail, commercial awareness, and sound report-writing skills.

Positive, energetic, and professional approach.
