At Fetch, play + sip, we’ve created a unique indoor dog park experience that brings people and their pets together in a fun, welcoming environment. Our self-serve taproom is an important part of that atmosphere, offering customers the chance to relax, enjoy local beverages, and connect with fellow dog lovers.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Taproom Host to oversee our self-serve tap system and provide a welcoming environment for guests. This role combines hospitality, light technical oversight, customer service, and interaction with both dogs and their owners. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and comfortable guiding dog behaviors while ensuring a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the self-serve tap system is functioning properly throughout each shift.

Keep shelves, coolers, and service areas fully stocked and organized.

Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, assisting them with the tap system as needed.

Interact with dogs and their owners, promoting safe and positive play.

Guide dog behaviors when necessary, helping prevent interactions from escalating.

Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment in the taproom and adjoining areas.

Support overall operations of the facility as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality, bartending, or retail experience preferred but not required.

Comfort working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and stay calm under pressure.

Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, stocked space.

Must have or be willing to obtain a bartending license as required by state law.

Training Provided:

All Taproom Hosts will receive training in dog behavior prior to starting, as well as ongoing training during employment to ensure confidence and success in guiding safe interactions.
