Job Title: Assistant Sanitation Supervisor
Location: Bath, Maine
Pay: $20/hour
Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM
About the Role:
Join our team in a leadership role focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant facility. As Assistant Sanitation Supervisor, you’ll help guide the sanitation crew, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the sanitation team during the afternoon shift
Perform and oversee cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing)
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols
Manage nightly factory closing and verify checklist completion
Document pest control and oversee deep cleaning schedules
Respond to sanitation needs after repairs or product development
Monitor waste handling and report food safety concerns
Qualifications:
Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning roles
Familiarity with food safety standards
Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, twisting, kneeling)
Strong attention to detail and safety
Leadership and team motivation skills
