Job Summary

The assistant director for marketing partners with Delta Gamma Council, Executive Offices staff and volunteers to deliver innovative marketing, web, media and creative solutions that advance Delta Gamma Fraternity’s mission. This role serves as the organization’s lead designer and project manager for marketing and communications initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and inspiring brand presence across all platforms.

This position is full-time and eligible for Delta Gamma benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off and employer paid life insurance, short term disability and long term disability.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Design Leadership

Lead in-house graphic design efforts, including online graphics, collateral layout and visual reviews.

Serve as a steward of the Delta Gamma brand and micro-brands, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.

Contribute to brand strategy, evolving and expanding the visual identity to align with organizational goals.

Edit and produce video content as needed.

Marketing & Communications Collaboration

Act as lead project manager for initiatives involving the marketing and communications department.

Collaborate with staff and volunteers to identify, create and update marketing materials and campaigns.

Partner with the assistant director for communications on newsletters, email campaigns and social media design.

Manage development and production of event-related materials.

Digital & Web Management

Oversee the functionality, content and structure of deltagamma.org, microsites and related web properties, including updates and special requests.

Support chapter websites, merchandising and licensing requests in collaboration with vendors.

Process & Resource Management

Optimize and lead all resource library documents and updates, brand asset management and assist with internal processes.

Maintain vendor relationships for print, web and video production.

Leadership & Collaboration

Supervise part-time graphic design staff.

Participate in working groups, committees and Delta Gamma events as assigned.

Respond to communications promptly, professionally and with a customer-service mindset.Requirements:

Commitment to creating inclusive environments where belonging is valued.

Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, digital media or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in digital and traditional marketing, design and media.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML/CSS, WordPress and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working knowledge of Figma and experience with AP Style and copyediting.

Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Fraternity/sorority experience preferred but not required
