Hotel Laundry Aide

Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is primarily responsible for performing tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens according to company quality standards. An attendant is often responsible for sorting items by color, weight and fabric types and making sure items are washed in the proper machine cycle by performing the following duties.Compensation:

$15 - $15.50 hourlyResponsibilities:

Being willing to help in other areas of the hotel if needed.

Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.

Dry, sort, and neatly fold clean items to meet presentation standards.

Perform regular cleaning and basic upkeep of laundry equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly.

Perform additional laundry services when necessary.Qualifications:

Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds as needed.

Flexible availability is a must.
