Role: White Space Fit-Out Operative

Location - Abu Dhabi

Need Immediate Joiners

Tenure - One Year Contract

Requirements

Previous experience in data centre or technical fit-out environments preferred.

Valid training and certification in:

Working at Height

Manual Handling

Abrasive Wheels (where drilling/cutting required)

IPAF (desirable)

5-point PPE must be worn at all times.

Physically fit and capable of working in confined or restricted spaces.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Install and assemble containment systems, security cages, hot/cold aisle containment, and extension collars to cabinets.

Carry out drilling, fixing, and minor construction activities within live environments, ensuring swarf and debris are controlled at all times.

Assist with installation of raised floors, ceiling grids, busbars, and related mechanical/electrical containment where required.

Handle and move materials safely using manual handling techniques, pallet trucks, and lifting aids.

Follow site-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS).

Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring all waste and packaging is removed at the end of each shift.

Work closely with supervisors, electricians, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

Comply with site access protocols, including presenting government ID, security clearance, and signing onto permits.

Attend toolbox talks and daily activity briefings (DABS) before commencing work.

Report any near misses, hazards, or incidents immediately.

Skills & Competencies

Ability to work safely and carefully in live white space environments.

Competent with use of hand tools, impact drills, HEPA filter vacuums, and ladders.

Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices.

Team player with good communication skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.

High attention to detail and pride in quality of workmanship.
