JOB SUMMARY:
To fabricate custom RV, automotive type, furniture, seating, wall coverings from scratch. Be able to pattern vehicle interiors such as seating areas, walls, ceiling and varying needs as required. Ability to operate sewing machine(s).
WORK PERFORMED:
Must understand blueprints, hand sketches. Read production orders for specifications, details including verbal.
Perform visual check of upholstery fabric covers for flaws and determine fixing or replacement.
Understand, utilize proper sewing techniques including custom pattering, material yields to best utilize.
Works with minimum supervision and guidance.
May be required to perform work in other job classifications at same or lower level.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Job requires knowledge of common sewing techniques, styles, and thread.
Knowledge of spray glue application(s)
Prior experience is required. Willing to train if not experienced in RV environment however foundational upholstery experience is required.
Factory noise level is average.
