Within our European Control Tower (ECT), where DSV Road manages the largest and most complex customers internationally, you will lead a team of contract managers. Contract managers are the spider in the web between the customer on the one hand, and the operational DSV teams on the other. As a senior manager, you will also carry customer responsibility for one or more of our top customers. In the role of senior manager, you contribute directly to commercial objectives, customer satisfaction and team development, and are therefore a driving force behind the success of our customer: you’re on it.
How you do this? You will provide strategic direction to the contract management team across the Netherlands and Belgium, ensuring colleagues are guided, motivated, and developed to perform at their best. As a member of the Contract Management leadership team within the ECT, you will translate strategic goals into tangible results, coordinate our top accounts, and collaborate closely with the operational control towers. By continuously optimising processes to meet the high expectations of our largest customers, you deliver measurable impact.
Working closely with the ECT operations, international account owners, and the vertical organisation, you will develop and implement commercial solutions for key customers. You will oversee the quality of responses to major tenders, resolve escalations effectively, and maintain oversight of the monthly pipeline. By combining in-depth customer analyses with strong relationships with commercial stakeholders, you provide strategic leadership to both your team and the wider organisation, ensuring smooth and result-driven processes.. You achieve this by:
leading, inspiring, and strategically managing the contract management team (6–8 employees);
developing and executing action plans for key accounts, including in-depth customer analyses and monthly pipeline overview;
ensuring top-quality responses for major tenders, resolving escalations effectively, and successfully implementing key clients;
strategically collaborating with the management team, operations, commercial stakeholders, vertical organisations, and other divisions within BE-NE to achieve business objectives;
continuously innovating the control tower and implementing creative solutions that meet customer expectations and positively distinguish DSV.
Your team stands out within DSV by it’s combination of strategic insight, commercial acumen, and deep knowledge of logistics and transport. The team works closely to serve key accounts optimally, develop creative solutions, and continuously improve processes.
