Standard Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.

Position Summary:

The Payroll Administrator will process weekly payroll and maintain employee time records.

Position Responsibilities:

Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system. Information may include employee's hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholdings, address changes, and other information.

Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.

Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.

Issues or reissues physical or replacement checks, or direct deposits, due to payroll errors or final discharge.

Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.

Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Required: High school diploma or GED.

Required: Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.

Preferred: Two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least six months of experience in payroll.

Preferred: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
