People Solutions are recruiting Van Delivery Drivers to work for our well-established clients based in Stockport.

This role will become permanent for the right candidate after a successful twelve-week period.

Shifts:

Flexible days and rotas to fit your lifestyle - guaranteed forty hours per week!

Rates of pay:

£13.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Van Delivery Driver will be:

Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently

You will be required to carry out 5-12 deliveries per day

Handball will be required due to nature of the role

Communicate any issues / delays effectively

Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

Provide excellent customer service

Ensure vehicle is well presented

Comply with driving rules and regulations

Essential Skills

Must hold a valid UK Category B (Manual) Driving Licence

No more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)

Right to work in the UK and able to prove this

English language skills for safety

Willing to undergo a background check and a drug and alcohol test

Training

Industry related training and ongoing support
