Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term time
Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
Teaching from 1 to 5 days per week
Singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons - Nursery to Year 6 following Sing Education teaching resources
Singing assemblies
Choirs, lunchtime and after school clubs
Requirements
Qualifications
University graduate with a degree in music or a related field
Skills and Knowledge
Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons
Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use
Understanding of the National Curriculum for music
Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite
Experience
Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction
Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role
Personal Attributes
Passionate about inspiring a love for music in pupils
Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with both Sing Education and school teams
Maintains appropriate confidentiality
Possesses a sense of humour and can generate enthusiasm for music

Compensation
Full-time Salary PA: £22,379 - £29,288 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale.
Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting. Initial pay is dependent on
classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension.
7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
No PGCE or QTS required.
