FACADE DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Façade Draftsman to produce precise technical drawings and fabrication details for a wide range of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and aluminum systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in façade design and drafting, and a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed facade drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD or similar drafting software

Develop shop drawings and fabrication drawings for curtain walls, aluminum systems, cladding panels, and glazing assemblies

Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce coordinated facade drawings

Work closely with facade engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design intent and technical accuracy

Revise drawings based on markups and coordination feedback

Assist in the preparation of materials take-offs and quantity estimates based on approved drawings.

Maintain organized drawing files and documentation according to project standards

Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, facade standards, and client specifications

Key Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field

Previous working experience in the facade works.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required

Familiarity with facade systems such as curtain walls, aluminum composite panels (ACP), unitized systems, glass façades, and stone cladding

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

Good understanding of construction techniques, materials, and installation methods used in facade works

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Good communication and teamwork skills
