Schedule: 7:20 AM to 4:20 PM Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in general accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax laws, and government regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or other ERP systems.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling).

Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Experience working in a corporate, SME, or audit firm environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of BIR, VAT, withholding tax, and other government-mandated reports.

Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and support financial accuracy.

Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems, processes, and software tools.

Provide management with timely and accurate financial insights and reports to support decision-making.

Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning, cost control, and business strategy execution.
