As a Customs Process Administrator, you play a key role in ensuring compliance with international customs laws and regulations. You support the lawful movement of goods across borders by executing essential operational and administrative tasks under customs control. This role is part of the Administrative Stream, focused on providing skilled technical and operational support to enable smooth trade operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute customs-related activities such as embarkment, disembarkment, entry, exit, deposit, and transit of goods in accordance with international regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and records to support customs clearance and compliance.
Apply standardized work routines and methods to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
Identify and escalate non-routine issues to senior colleagues or supervisors as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and compliant goods movement.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and suggesting enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum English level: B2 – required for effective communication in an international environment.
Entry-level logistics experience – strongly preferred to ensure familiarity with supply chain and customs processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently within established guidelines and escalate issues appropriately.
Proficiency in administrative tools and systems used in customs operations.
Job-related training or on-the-job experience in a similar operational or administrative role.
