Production Assembler

Job Opportunity: Columbus, Ohio

Our client is looking for a Production Assembler to join their team. This is a temporary assignment that is scheduled to last for 60-90 days.

The Production Assembler will be responsible for the building of assemblies in support of customer requirements, while complying with all Safety and Quality expectations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- High School Diploma.

- 1-3 years experience in a production environment, preferably in assembly and or fabrication of industrial metal components.

- Forklift certified.

- Welding experience a plus - MIG, Stick.

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Ability/Knowledge to work with power tools.

Responsibilities/Duties:

- Perform assembly tasks as outlined in job specific drawings. These tasks may require the use of tools, machines, or manual labor.

- Component and/or Finished Goods inspection to ensure being free from defects or issues.

- Compliance with 6S related initiatives.

- Ensure the products/services produced by the Production team are delivered on time and in exceptional condition.

- Other duties as assigned.
