Job Summary
We're hiring a Center Manager (Clinician – Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist) to lead and manage operations at our outpatient rehabilitation center in North Sacramento. This is a dynamic opportunity to oversee clinical performance, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional patient care — all while managing a full caseload and mentoring a skilled team of therapy professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Center Operations & Leadership
Manage daily center operations and ensure high-quality patient care
Lead, mentor, and support therapists and rehabilitation aides
Oversee scheduling, productivity, staffing, and workflow optimization
Maintain compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols
Ensure timely approvals for payroll, PTO, and performance evaluations
Patient Care
Deliver skilled physical or occupational therapy treatment
Develop individualized care plans and document progress accurately
Supervise and delegate appropriate care tasks to team members
Maintain up-to-date licensure and continuing education
Business & Compliance
Monitor financial performance and interpret center metrics
Develop marketing and referral plans to grow patient volume
Ensure compliance with Medicare, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies
Conduct internal quality audits and drive improvement initiatives
Requirements
Degree from an accredited PT or OT program (CAPTE or equivalent)
Active California state licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred
Strong organizational and team-building skills
Ability to manage a full caseload while overseeing operations
Proficiency in basic computer systems (Word, Excel, EMR systems)
Current CPR certification
