Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for overnight shifts, requiring ARRT® or ARMRIT certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.
Responsibilities
Work in an MRI unit performing a wide variety of magnetic resonance exams on patients of all ages
Shift is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Technologist will work alone from 4:00 AM to 7:30 AM on Monday to Wednesday, and may occasionally work entire shifts alone
Uses MRI scanners including Philips, GE, and Siemens models
Department utilizes Cerner for EMR and PACS system for imaging
No weekend or call requirements
No floating to other units or departments
Perform MRI exams as directed by the Radiologist or Manager
Role may require working independently for portions or the entirety of a shift if coverage is unavailable
Scrubs are the required dress code
Shift-specific orientation and training will be provided
A two-week notice can be given if needed
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
ARRT® or ARMRIT certification required
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Proficiency in operating Philips, GE, and Siemens MRI scanners
License required if applicable
