Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, SCRQSA, and neuro experience for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based interventional radiology unit

Serves adult patients with interventional and neuro radiology procedures

Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Rotating call one night per week and every fifth weekend

Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs

Uses EPIC EMR system; 1 year of prior Epic experience required

Must be willing to float to other units within clinical competency as needed

Flexible contract lengths of 13-20 weeks available for holiday coverage

Travelers working holiday contracts must work 2 out of 3 major holidays and are not eligible for time off between December 26 and December 31

Orientation is provided every Monday with required pre-assignment modules to be completed before start

Pre-assignment modules are eligible for reimbursement up to 16 hours

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the hospital to be eligible; full travel rate granted at 100+ miles, with a 10% rate reduction for candidates residing 50-99.9 miles away

Scrub/dress code requirements may apply per unit policy

Requirements

Valid ARRT registration

SCRQSA certification required for candidates working in South Carolina

Current BLS certification

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in interventional radiology, including neuro procedures

At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR system

License required if applicable
