Part-Time AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accountant to support our client’s financial operations. The role focuses on core accounting functions and requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, accuracy, and confidentiality. This position will be approximately 25 hours per week. This position is full onsite and will pay between $23 and $25/hr. Duties:
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Reconcile accounts payable and resolve discrepancies
Generate and send customer invoices
Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances
Record and reconcile accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and process payroll in compliance with applicable regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Support financial reporting and audit preparation
Use accounting software to manage daily transactions
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendorsQualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
