Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and SCRQSA certification and EPIC EMR experience for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

Position is in an interventional radiology department

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 5x8 hour day shifts

Call required one night per week (4:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Every 6th weekend requires 24-hour call coverage both Saturday and Sunday

Potential to float to other qualified units or campuses as needed

Patient population and typical caseload consistent with interventional radiology procedures

Uses EPIC EMR system; at least one year of prior EPIC experience required

Must be willing to float within credentialed skill set per facility requirement

Holiday contracts require working at least 2 of the 3 major holidays and no time off from December 26 to December 31

Eligible candidates must live at least 50 miles from the flagship hospital; those 100+ miles away receive full travel rate, with reduced rate between 50 and 99.9 miles, and candidates under 50 miles are not eligible

Pre-assignment modules and orientation required; up to 16 hours for pre-start modules

Orientation is held every Monday

Testing and/or vaccination requirements must be completed as directed

Requirements

Current ARRT registration required

SCRQSA certification required for positions in South Carolina

Current BLS certification required

Minimum one year of recent experience in interventional radiology

At least one year of experience with EPIC EMR

License required if applicable
