Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) certification and recent EPIC experience for a rotating 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a dedicated mammography unit

Utilize Hologic mammography equipment

Patient caseload primarily consists of screening and diagnostic mammography studies

Shifts include a mix of 8 and 12 hours, with rotating schedules

Schedule includes working Monday through Friday one week, and four weekday shifts plus Saturday the following week

Shifts during the week are typically 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturdays are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at a screening clinic

Flexibility required for varying shift assignments

Must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas (or Eve), and New Year's (or Eve)

EPIC and Visage EMR systems are used; recent EPIC experience required

Bi-weekly orientation sessions are offered on Mondays

No block schedules permitted for any reason

Must provide comprehensive work history for consideration

Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Must be open to working a flexible rotating schedule including Saturdays

Travelers must be prepared for regular holiday coverage

Dress code requirements aligned with clinical standards

Requirements

ARRT (M) certification required

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a mammography technologist

EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required

License required if applicable

Must provide evidence of reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible in the area

All season or snow tires are recommended for personal or rental vehicles during November to April
