Vice President, Finance CPH

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team in Copenhagen. In this critical role, you will act as a key business partner to the General Manager and the site leadership team, driving business growth and profitability through exceptional financial stewardship. You will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy of our Copenhagen facilities, ensuring alignment with our global objectives and contributing directly to our mission of bringing hope to life.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a member of the site leadership team, you will:

Act as a Strategic Financial Partner: Provide expert financial guidance and support to the General Manager and site leadership, translating complex financial information into actionable business strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Lead Financial Operations: Oversee all finance and accounting functions for the Copenhagen site, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and cash management, to support global initiatives.

Ensure Financial Integrity and Compliance: Guarantee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards and parent company policies. You will also oversee financial audits, SOX controls, and ensure compliance with all local tax regulations.

Drive Performance with Data-Driven Insights: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance financial predictability and operational performance. Provide robust financial analysis for capital investment projects, including ROI and cash flow assessments.

Mitigate Risk and Identify Opportunities: Proactively identify and escalate financial risks while offering innovative solutions. Provide financial guidance on customer contract terms and revenue recognition to secure the company’s financial health.

Build and Develop a High-Performing Culture: Enhance the financial acumen across the organization and lead by example, embodying the AGC Biologics Core Values. Drive talent development and establish robust succession plans within your team.

What You'll Bring to the Team

We are looking for a visionary leader with a passion for execution and a proven track record of financial leadership.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; an MBA is strongly preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a financial management role, with a strong preference for experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry.

Expert-level knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting standards is essential.

Demonstrated ability to thrive and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

A CPA certification is a significant plus.

Hands-on experience with ERP system implementations.

Experience working within a SOX-controlled environment.
