Cook

Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and safety. This position plays a key role in delivering an excellent dining experience for our guests or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, menu specifications, and customer requests.

Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and served in a timely manner.

Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking stations, and equipment.

Monitor food inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages or needed supplies.

Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries properly.

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Adhere to portion control and minimize waste to support cost control efforts.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar food service role preferred.

Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed.
