Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary school setting in Columbus, OH. The position involves working with PreK and elementary caseloads, providing speech-language therapy to help children develop essential communication skills. This contract runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with potential for the following school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Ohio licensure is required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Certificate of Clinical Fellowship (CF) necessary.
Experience working with PreK and elementary-aged students preferred.
Strong assessment and therapy skills tailored to diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
Provide family education and support to promote effective communication strategies.
Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed.
Schedule and Location:
Full-time, 7.5 hours per day, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Position is based in an elementary school in Columbus, OH.
Contract duration: ASAP through the end of the school year with potential for continuation into the 2025/2026 school year.
