Job Title: New Product Development EngineerJob Description We are seeking innovative New Product Development Engineers to research, design, and develop new products that expand our offerings and strengthen our competitive position in the dairy product filling industry.
You will play a key role in driving product innovation from concept to launch, collaborating across teams to ensure quality and compliance.
Responsibilities + Research & Analysis: Gather information, data, and samples to identify opportunities for innovation and evaluate existing technologies.
+ Design & Development: Create and design new products, processes, and technologies to meet market needs.
+ Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes to validate new concepts and designs.
+ Testing & Validation: Conduct experiments and tests to ensure products meet performance criteria and quality standards.
+ Documentation: Record research findings, design details, supporting documents, and testing protocols.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, management, marketing, operations, and finance teams to drive projects forward.
+ Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve product or process issues as they arise.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and processes meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical + Mechanical aptitude + 5+ years of experience in an engineering role developing complex mechanical equipment + Experience working in Solidworks + Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials science Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Aseptic equipment + 5+ years of experience in developing mechanical equipment within the food processing industry, specifically Filling equipment Work Environment Be part of a team that values innovation and quality, working on cutting-edge products that shape the future of dairy filling technology.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.04 - $57.69/hr.
