JOB TITLE: Equipment Sales Representative
JOB LOCATION: Columbus, OH
SALARY RANGE: $19-25/hour. Compensation based on experience.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Goal-driven professional with a passion for building and maintaining relationships while growing revenue. The Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing relationships with new and existing customers within interested in buying or leasing industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals in the Greater Columbus Market. This role requires a strong focus on customer retention and revenue growth while ensuring service excellence and alignment with company objectives. Face-to-face meetings with customers and equipment demonstrations are crucial parts of the role.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Account Management & Customer Retention:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all new and existing customers in the district.
Conduct regular check-ins and site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
Proactively address customer concerns and coordinate with operations to resolve service-related issues.
Negotiate contract renewals, pricing adjustments, and service expansions.
Demonstrate equipment capabilities on site and at customer locations.
Operational Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with operations to ensure service commitments are met.
Monitor service performance metrics and communicate customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and contract updates in the CRM system.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
Ability to drive F250 or 2500 and pull 12,000 GVW trailer.
Assist in shipping and receiving of parts.
Load, pick up, and deliver industrial cleaning equipment, parts, and chemicals.
Demonstrate cleaning equipment.
Assist with any other duties that may be required at the site.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field).
3-5 years of sales or account management experience in a service-based industry.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned district as needed.
Strong Mechanical Background.
Strong Verbal communication skills to wide range of types of customers.
Demonstrated ability to make cold calls.
Valid Driver's License and DOT Med Card
